Data

The Data menu item consists of Unit Value, State Approval, Create Rates, and Search Rates sub-menu options.

Unit Value

The Unit Value screen displays the unit values for a specific fund over a defined course of time. When the Unit Value option is clicked, The Unit Value Search section is displayed. You can fill in the following fields to search for Unit Value Results.

• Company Name is the name of the company.
• Product is the name of the product category.
• Planis the brand name of the company’s proprietary product. 
• Fund is the fund containing the values.
• Start Date is the first date used to search for the fund values and net asset values.
• End Date is the last date used to search for the fund values and net asset values.

Upon clicking Search, the Unit Value Results section displays a list search results.

State Approval

The State Approval option provides access to all plan and segment state approvals stored in the database. When the State Approval option is selected from the Data menu item of the Admin menu, a State Approval screen displays. This screen allows users to search for the states that have approved the plan or segment selected.

All plan withholding data can be viewed in OIPA from the Plan menu item of the Admin menu, when the Plan Withholding option is selected.

State Approval Search

State Approval records are filtered by Company, Product and Plan. Once the initial information is entered, a radio button is provided to select the type of state approval records to display: plan or segment records. If the Segment radio button is selected, then the Segment drop down box will be populated with the available segments. Click the Find button to populate the State Approval Results section with the results of the search.

State Approval Results

State Approval Results will display the results in a tabular format after the search criteria is entered and the Find button is clicked.

If the Plan radio button is selected, then all states with an effective date that apply to that particular plan will display. Click the individual state rows to see any segments on that plan that also have effective state approval dates.

If the Segment radio button is selected, then all states with approval records for that particular segment will display. Click the individual state rows to see if any additional segments have approvals for that state.
